Hi, this is me, the Head of Communications at Sun Finance. I bribed the HR team with coffee and took over this job posting because I’m on a mission to find my new work buddy. Or, to put it simply – I’m looking for a colleague.

Before you keep reading, here's what you should know

1. Creativity isn’t optional.

You don’t have to be the loudest creative in the room, but you should genuinely enjoy generating ideas and turning them into content.

2. Details matter.

We look after the reputation of multiple brands, so we’re serious about quality. Luckily, we’re also the kind of team that proofreads each other’s work and isn’t afraid to give honest feedback.

3. We like working together in person.

This is a hybrid role, but you’ll spend most of your week in the office. A big part of our job involves brainstorming, filming content, planning campaigns, and bouncing ideas off each other, and those things simply work better face to face.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Managing and creating content for two fintech brands’ social media channels (around four posts per month for each brand)
• Being the main point of contact for our creative agencies, especially for content created for our charity initiatives
• Helping shape and grow our internal culture through creative communication.
• Planning and executing public charity campaigns
• Supporting various communication and PR projects that help strengthen our company’s reputation

You'll probably enjoy this role if you...

• Write engaging, creative and grammatically correct copy in both Latvian (native level) and English
• Are curious about fintech and enjoy learning about new topics
• Have at least two years of experience in communications (agency experience is a big plus)
• Understand social media beyond just posting – you know what works, what doesn’t, and you’re comfortable looking at the numbers too
• Feel comfortable creating simple short-form video content for platforms like TikTok or Instagram Reels
• Have worked with influencers or content creators
• Bring positive energy to the team. I have plenty myself, so it’d be nice if we matched each other’s vibe 😉
