JOB MISSION

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Country Manager to create a thriving local business from scratch in Estonia and work closely with cross-cultural teams and leverage Sun Finance’s extensive experience and resources to ensure local success.

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our business in the country, including sales, operations, strategy, and team creation and development.

• Build a successful and sustainable business from the ground up, identifying market opportunities, creating a local strategy, and driving execution.
• Recruit, lead, and inspire a local team to meet and exceed targets, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth processes across different teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business partners, government entities, and stakeholders.
• Understand the local financial ecosystem and provide actionable insights into customer behavior and market trends.
• Implement corporate policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven Experience in alternative lending, non-bank financing, or as a lending intermediary, with a proven track record of driving growth in similar sectors.
• Previous experience in senior roles such as Country Manager, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Sales Leadership, or other relevant leadership roles, managing teams and overseeing business development strategies.
• Ability to build a business from the ground up, demonstrating creativity, persistence, and agility in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the local market, economy, and business culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Fluency in English. Proficiency in Estonian will be considered as an advantage.
